What is SD Sengokuden/SD Warring States (SD戦国伝)

SD Sengokuden first started in Comic World, drawn by MARSHI a.k.a. Susumu Imaishi. Comic World is the comic part of the instruction manual of BB Senshi model kits. The Comic World for BB Senshi No 17. Musha Gundam told the story of seven Gundams. The story was subsequently serialized as "SD Sengokuden" in the assembly instructions for BB Senshi, and featured in Bonbon magazine in various articles and in the manga " Original! SD Gundam " by Koji Yokoi , who conceived the design for SD Gundam.

The characters are mainly personifications of weapons from Mobile Suit Gundam , Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam , Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ , and Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack . In this work, the Musha Gundam is called a "warrior," but this is basically a "title" given by the Great Shogun or Shogundam. Some products have "warrior" in their product names, such as "Musha Hyakushiki," but in the work, only the Seven Musha are given the title of "warrior." This settings also implemented in the future series.

During the Sengoku period, a time of turmoil, there were seven samurai known to the world as "invincible." People called them the "Seven Warriors." The Gundam Corps engages in a fierce battle with the sudden invading Dark Corps. However, there is an even greater darkness behind the battle. Just when it seemed the battle was over after a fierce exchange of blows between the Great General and the Dark Emperor, five beams of light and five beams of darkness scattered. This was only a sign of the long-lasting battle between "light" and "darkness."
